Do Dyson vacuums live up to the hype?

Overrated, and overpriced. The way to go is an old style high quality baged vacume. I've used the Hoover Platnum, and currently own a Orek Graphite, they look boring and don't have many fancy bells and whistles, but they work, they are simple and easy to maintain and will last for YEARS.

True if the tv has an issue I didn't get a great deal. But I found there is a big market for even broken hdtvs on craigslist. Got 40 for a 32in tv that died it a thunderstorm a few months back. Got 100 for a 50in plasma that died it the same storm

Exactly its a mighty tempting carrot. Gets me into a home 40k under budget and I prolly have 2-3 times the house than what I played for it. If what the city does works. That's a 200k plus home in 10 years at least if not more.

Also with me starting a family soon another upside/downside is the schools. They have kzoo promice (free tuition to any Michigan uni of you attended k -12). Down side is its currently not a great school system

Just got a hd20 to replace my 40in LCD for my main TV. At 92 inches its pretty damn awesome. For casual daytime TV and sports its use able all day with some blackout curtains. At night though is when it really shines and movies are great In an apartment so went with a cheap pull down...

Anyone use Amazon Warehouse?

done very well using amazon warehouse deals. got a GF3 camera body for 180, and a Optimus HD20 projector for 480. both were like new and work great. and even though they were used they came in the orignal box and was able to register there warrenty
