I'm using the BE7 RAID and it works great. Running a P4 1.8a at 2.8GHZ with corsair xms 3500. I've had no problems with this board it runs 24/7 crunching seti when I'm not using it for normal stuff.
Alpha makes some heatsinks that use a fan to blow across instead of down onto the heatsink.

I'm thinking of putting together 6 or so boxes to crunch seti full time and was wondering if anyone knew what kind of times I could expect. I will be using Athlon XP2100 and Asus A7N266 with 256 MB ram.
Anyone? I'm looking to use it just as a backup box and to lurn Linux. No games, no hi perf apps, just want something inexpensive and stable with onboard LAN and video. If you've got any other suggestions instead of this board let me know.

Thanks guys. Showtime, it is Malay pack. I using an Alpha heat sink and a T-1 chipset cooler. Temps are 39c at idle, up to about 55c while running Prime95.
I think so, I ran Prime95 for 11 hrs. last night with no errors. I looped 3DMark2001SE for 2 hrs. with no problems. Anything else I should do to check stability?

I'm starting my first ever system build and overclock!! Learned alot by reading all your post, thanks! I do have a question though, does it matter in what order I install drivers and such? Also should I install all peripherals before overclocking, or overclock first?
