Narrowed it down to my new NETGEAR WN311b ADAPTER CARD. Seems they have had similar problems with this card. I am trying the new beta drivers they suggested. Hope it works.

X2 4800 Safe Temps?

Yes, switching top fan on the p-180 to intake definetly reduced temps a couple of degrees.
