Will my RAID setup survive to changing the RAID controller???

If the RAID chipsets are different then it will most likely not work. I know for a fact that if they are different brands (highpoint --> AMI) it won't work.

How do I write a program for this?

I have been looking for a simple utility for a while that changes wallpapers at specified time intervals, but every single one I have come across sucks ass! I'm tired of looking and have decided to write my own. I'm familiar with C++... Anybody have an idea how to do this?

I need help understanding light.

I think I read an article a while back that commented on an experiment that showed that there are different "speed grades" of light, that it doesn't always move at a constant speed.

Temp probe for ati cards?

Anybody know of a temp probe for a 9700 pro? I think it may be overheating cause when I play battlefield 1942 for a while I start to get texture artifacts.(Maybe all D3D games cause it sometimes happens in UT2003)

Highest recommended voltage for a P4 2.8?

Hey guys, What do you guys recommend as the highest voltage for a P4 2.8? I have mine at 1.65V now and it runs smoothly @ 3.15, however the chip can go much higher but is unstable as hell. Here's my rig... Gigabyte 8SQ800 P4 2.8 - Swiftech MCX4000 with Vantec Tornado 4 x 256MB Crucial...

Why do we buy any oil from the middle east?

I read an article in my biology textbook a while back that says at the current rate of world consumption of oil the entire worlds reserve would be depleted in about 100 years. My professor seems to agree with that also.

Subroutines in QBasic

I guess while im thinking about it though.... Does anybody know the largest possible number that QBasic can compute? I noticed when I use some large numbers with a couple of my formulas that intergrate exponetiation I get overflow errors. Mods, feel free to delete this if its not HT.

Never mind guys im stupid! :confused: I just realized I dont even need to have a choice at the end of the subroutine. I already have a choice at the end of the main module so I can just end the subroutine! DOH!!!

Pagefile in WinXP

I dont do any photo or music editing, but I do ocasionally make DivX and VCD's so should I set it higher for that? I also play games like UT2003, BF1942, C&C: Generals so thats why I thought a large pagefile was a waste of space.
