    if you can get a good deal on the 680s since they were just replaced go for them. if you don't need all the extra sound the 5300s are ok, but you might regret it in a few months. you're best bet is just to use google and read a few reviews of the various speakers.

    the 6600GT is the way to go. but just so you know the AIW 9600XT/Pro are both actaully clocked higher than theri non AIW counterparts, so the AIW are actaully better for gaming, so there is no "trade off" as you thought there might be. but ya get teh 6600GT.

    from what i understand dvd-r is more "compatible" but dvd+r is more reliable. ie. - works on 90% of player, + works on 80% of players, but + will be more reliable in the long run. I have a NEC 3500a and i just bought some + and it works great and play sno problem in my phillips dvd player.
