Zalman FB123 : Anyone ever use this to blow air down on their video cards?

I've never used em for video cards, but they worked well for a quiet (and cheap) CPU cooling solution. I removed the fan from a stock Athlon XP heatsink and replaced it with a quiet 80mm panaflo. Even with the crappy heatsink, temps stayed in the 40s and my system was nice and quiet.

Can a SLI slot be used for PCIe-1x DAQ?

I'm interested in this because Tekram has released PCIe x4 SATA RAID cards, however none of the SLI motherboards come with x4 slots. Hence, can the second SLI slot be used for a x4 or up to x8 non-video card? (These babies will come out soon)

possibly noisy. 29db? Also, those things are pricey, i forget how much, but they aren't cheap. I personally think you're better off buying a case that has good cooling for your hdd's, especially if you have a bunch of drives to cool. Ever since I put cooling fans over my hdds, I haven't had...

Any possible way to change region on DVD player?

the DVD region change is monitored in the drive's firmware. Your best bet is to find an RPC-1 firmware for the drive (region free) and flash it with that

Soft modding Red or Black PCB 9500 into 9500 pro. Is it possible?

weren't the first 9500np's soldered to cut the pipeline down to 4? I remember the first 9500np mod involved resoldering in order to enable the pipelines

9600 pro or 9500 pro

hey guys, I plan on buying a new VC this summer and will OC it, but am wondering which of these two card, 9600 pro or 9500 pro will give the best results overclocked. I play more UT2K3 than splinter cell, so I'm leaning towards the 9500. What do you guys think?

aight. When my Vantec stuff gets here, we'll see how high this Kingmax 3200 can go. I remember from reading reviews about the ram that 205 was the ceiling, but maybe with a different chipset things can go higher.

wait for a deal. I got the MX-700 for 40 with some pricematching and rebates, and the MX-500 pops up for 35 or less every so often.
