Where is my problem??

The laptop was able to play DVD in full screen mode perfectly before XP which led me to believe that it might be a software error. I will try to lower audio settings to see if that helps.

From cassette tape to MP3?

A great free program for recording is Audacity. Sourceforge Project Audacity It is what I use, works awsome. Easy to adjust input strength which is good for doing tapes. The noise removal effect works awsome to clean up tapes. Good luck!

Looks like a good pick. You don't really need an amp, but you get better sound, as well as more sound, if you really want to crank it up. The infinity kappas are great speakers, if money is an issue (it was for me) you can get cheaper speakers that will perform close to the same. Chances are...

Car stereo help

I helped a friend that had a factory amplifier. He bought a bypass harness, I unplugged the harnesses from either side of the amplifier and connected with the bypass. btw I doubt that their is a separate amp for each speaker just one four channel amp

I recently connected a Win98 computer to my wireless network. I finally got the wireless card working and could access internet. I went to set up networking and there was no network neighborhood. I looked around and it seemed that networking wasn't installed/enabled. Am I missing something...

Neon is only illegal if you can see where the glow is coming from (under the car you can't) at least in Iowa it varies from state to state. But nix the lights anyway.

You will probably pay about in the 250 - 300 range for good quality maybe a bit less for low quality I go for name brand myself It tends to last longer I think this is what you are looking for

Since no one else has answered, I will. Subs will cost you around 300$ probably less. I have lots of bass for little over 300 (12" Xplod P5, profile amp) Don't get neon underbody!!!

Is it possible to hook up two printers to one computer?

Yes, without a problem, I have 5 computers (4 on network, one isolated) hooked up to a manual 4 port switch and then to two printers with out a problem (unless you foget to flip the switch ;) ) If you do go with a switch get an automatic, manual is just a pain

why don't car stereos come with input/output jacks?

Some receivers do have auxiliary imputs, but I agree every receiver should. About every receiver has preamp outs, but no headphone jack hmmm......

Router on Win98

Yes you can still file and print share between the different operating systems if you go modem --> router --> machines. I share between XP and 98 with no problem. Setup is a bit different but works the same.

my new printer sucks too much power

Once in a while my HP laser will kick the ups on for less than a second. Same when the air conditioner kicks on. And the house wiring is brand new.
