How is this going to effect my computer!
I have 1gb of Corsair RAM (the set made for dual-channel).
The funney thing is that it booted fine about 3 times..........and now....it just won't.....one of 3 things happens
1.) black screen (moniter on)
2.) black screen (moniter off)
3.) detects video card....but goes no further, and hangs...
I'm suposed to apply the grease only to the area where the P4 is going to make contact........how do I tell?
also will the grease dry?.....if so How do I remove the heatsink with out ripping out my p4?
I know someone that has a scuba tank filled with compressed air....he has a little nozzel on it....(he found an attatchment that had a bike pump attachment, and he just screwed a nozzel onto that)......he has it next to his computer...just opens the valve and spays away....
he even found a shop...
You said you'd have some 800fsb testing...............what boards have this as an option.....does this mean they will be able to take the P4 3.6 HT 800fsb chips?
Bios updated to 800fsb........wow that would be great.........

So......I was thinking about getting a SINXP1394......seems like a good deal.....but now with all the news about the Springdale/Canterwood chipsets coming out I'm not sure if I should wait. heck....if I keep this up I'll never build my computer....

With all the new hype around the new SiS boards how will they compaire to the E7205's?
As far as I can tell value/performance wise out of the box they will be on equal footing....
however as far as over clocking goes? the P4G8X Deluxe is a beast? will the lower priced SiS boards be able to...

Anyone have any dates on when to expect the cards out.......I'm trying to deside if I should hold off untill the 350...........but it really depends on the time frame.

Well I also do a lot of video editing digital/phot stuff (I do some free lance web design) so it's important to me to have 2 80GB drived that are Raid 1 , so that I can have back ups.......
and then I'd have a 120 to run games and stuff on. ideally I like to keep any thing damaging off of my...
Well I'm trying to deside what new P4 mother board to get.....(or should I wait for the Cwood's).......but it looks to me like the GB SINXP1394 (GA-8SQ800 Ultra2) and the Asus P4G8X Deluxe are the two front runners. Both with 8x AGP, SATA,....etc.....
the only HUGE point is that the GB board...
Looking for a P4 Mother Board, orig. liked the Asus P4G8X Deluxe, however I'm begining to feel disheartened that it only suports a max of PC2100 Dual-DDR RAM.
Are there any other P4 MB's on the market, that have 8xAGP, and DDR suport of higher band speeds? Or do I need to start bracing myself...
