    Well im looking to buy an a64 3000+. I heard that memory bandwidth isn't really that big of an issue. I am looking to overclock so, what HTT (fsb) do these usually reach? And would it impact my performace very much if i ran the at a diff ratio (not 1:1). Lorne

    thnx for the help guys, im running the ram at the rated speed of 2-3-2-6. the first stick had 0 errors.. and teh second had 415. it was a dual kit so ill just get them replaced :)

    well im trying to track down my system instability problem, so im running memtest 86 and so far in 20 mins it has 8 errors... this isnt normal is it? i have 2 sticks of 512 so im gonna stop it right here and test eat one individually for 2 mins each and see which gives me errors.... is this teh...

    ok, i set my vdimm to 2.6 (what the ram is supposed to use) from auto, it seems to be ok now. ill post back if something happens. i also installed mbm 5 and played a game for 30 mins.. all voltages are perfect.

    which version has which core + what amount of cache? i tried searching the forums, but didnt find anything. Could someone just clear this up a bit? Does the added cache for tehse chips make them much faster? Also, what is CG? thanks in advanced, Lorne (dinde)

    Need some all around help with my new system

    yeah, i was wondering about that too. what would yield better performance. 1 1024 chip or 2 512 chips? If they are the same performance i would probably go with teh 2 512's so that in the future i could go up to 1.5 gigs if needed. (not ridiculously expensive)
