need HELP connecting my laptop to TV through s-video

I don't know what kind of TV you have, but I've used a TV before that you had to go under the TV settings to tell it to use the S-Video input instead of the RCA input for whatever video channel it is hooked up too. You would think the TV would auto sense the S-video plugged in, but this model...

2k is still a heck of a notebook, check out the Dell 9100. for like 1600 you can have a heck of a notebook. 128 meg 9700, dvd+r, 60 gig 7200 rpm drive, etc. you can get the hypersonics down to around 2300 for an awesome notebook too.

If you have 3K to spend (even max), you can get a killer notebook. Check out the notebooks at www.hypersonic-pc.com or look at some Sagers. You can get a killer Dell 9100 for that price too, not sure how great it is, but I've been looking at it lately and it looks to be pretty good.

Are these "Free" magazine suscriptions really "free"?

sounds like the deal they offer with purchases at best buy (among other places) where you do have to give them your cc to get your eight free issues. the freebizmag deals are different.
