I recently purchased the deluxe mobo and 2 512's from Crucial - DDR2700. I booted, it detected ... etc. The ram is there, and the settings are "optimal" ... but now ... I'm sick of the ordinary, and ready to push the envelope. I 've read through the official thread ... which is over-bearing...

Upgrading processors on Jabil Motherboard

According to Gateway I have a Jabil Motherboard with an Athlon 950 - Ziff-A. I want to upgrade to an Athlon XP because they are dirt cheap ... and I do not want to invest alot into a new mobo and processor etc. Does anyone know if this is possible? ... I have searched the internet far and wide...

So basically ... It's trial and error. Does Voltage = Speed? I guess I am wondering what "tweaking" the settings will give me. If I add voltage to the CPU will it operate faster? ... Will it perform more ... and better ... or just hotter. I have had limited exposure to the overclocking community...
