I just let someone get away with drunk driving...

As someone who just lost a friend on Thanksgiving to a drunk driver I really wish you had reported the guy. But.... regardless of your actions it was the choice of that man to drink and drive. Your guilt would be understandable if he had killed or injured innocent people but the fault isn't...

Thanksgiving tragedy

This is just a quick note because I'm not sure what to do at the moment. I was notified yesterday that a friend of mine was killed by a drunk driver on Thanksgiving while on his way to his aunt's. So...I miss you, Rich. And I really really really hate people that drink and drive.

Hmm, missed my first day of work in two and half years..... UPDATED: Even more confusion!

You never know, maybe they're so used to not seeing you on that day that it didn't cross their minds. And maybe the guy that usually works that day showed up even though he was off. Either way, just relax and enjoy. Maybe they'll let you have Thursday off anyway. :D

There was supposed to be a new episode of CSI on tonight, but it's a rerun. My fiance and I are thinking that it's because of Game 7 of the Yankees/Red Sox games and that they knew that they'd lose viewership to the game. Can anyone tell me if that's a correct assumption? Thanks.

Well....I'd say it's obvious from the replies who actually knows a victim of sexual assault or has themselves been a victim of sexual assault. And people wonder why this sort of crime is so rarely reported. I guess it's because of the callousness of the majority of the general public. :disgust:

Victoria's Secret is nice I suppose, but you should be able to find something in the lingerie section of any department store. K-mart, Meijers, Wal-Mart, Target....These are the places that I go to for bathrobes or nightgowns. You should find terry cloth or silk.

Dorm room/roomate help

You should be able to talk to the administration about this. If it bothers you this much, complain or not, it could affect how you perform in the classroom. They could easily put you at the top of the list for a single room and if you don't go talking about it, nobody should start yelling...
