very hard decision. From Amazon total would be around $190 (scheduled to ship Nov 12) but from Apple store come out to be $193 (ship within 5 business day). I went with IPOD store to get free engraving and to get a hand on Ipod nano faster :)

Easy to make Thai dish

Help me connect VCR (antenna) to receiver to HDTV

I'm helping a friend on mine connecting VCR (for the use of antenna) to Philips HDTV. He got a receiver already and since everything has been installed in place so I think I would use the receiver to connect VCR and the old DVD to HDTV. Here the story, before he connected DVD directly to HDTV...

AIW 8500DV 64MB DDR back to $99.99 at CompUSA

even though, it's kind of old video card and only 64 MB but I think this is a very good card at a good price. I've been using one for over a year and love it. If you are not really into PC Games and want only decent graphic card with TV tuner then this is the way to go.

cut a hole for a fan

dremel, and while you are doing it, get another hole on top as well, that helps cool your system a lot:) BTW do you already have window side case or just a metal?

You should be able to use Y-adapter without problems. I, myself, connect one of 4 pin to fan speed controller to run 4 fans from it without a single problem.

You should connect all the fans to morel 4 pin from PSU only (not the one with "Fan Only" wire) and that should make all 5 fans run at highest speed. I'm not sure about the ones connect to MotherBorad, make sure on bios set up to run all fans connect at 100%, some biso have this smart fan...

How do you burn AVI to VCD using Nero?

The quality is not so good if you do that way. I'd also prefer converting avi to mpeg/VCD with TMPGenc.

LOL, ** add **, you can have two mice working but not two pointers, I guess. My lappy got this when I installed new cordless mouse and the mouse pad still work at the same time. They both share the same pointer.
