Hauppauge TV cards are defacto in the industry. You will find software support everywhere. I use them all the time. i have had three of thier cards. These are not crap cards; they are a pretty good price. No stereo sound, no FM module, but that's not a big problem. pretty good deal.

Never, Ever, drop refresh rate under 85Hz. Do you think that $30 you save is worth hurting your eyes? 85 is bare minimum and you should shoot for at least 100Hz. Sacrifice the resolution only means a smaller desktop but so what you ain't trashing your eyes. Higher resolution gets you real bad...
