I got one from them and love it. I'm tossing all those crappy free Harbor Freight and Menards flashlights and buying a few more of these. I bought it about a month ago on a daily deal and it came in about 3 weeks with no problems. I did a little searching and it appears to put out 100lm with an...
I gave a Dell optiplex 945 SFF to my brother in law from my office. It was reloaded with fresh win XP 64bit pro by our IT. However on boot up it shows two choices on the start menu both for win XP 64bit pro. you have to select one or wait 30 seconds. Is there a way to set a default or other work...
Haven't posted in ages, just wanted to say thanks to OP for the deal and everyone else for answering all the questions rattling around in my head. In for 1, probably pick up another for spare after trying.
Thanks sivart, the DVD recorder is where I started but I bogged myself down trying to look at other options. I haven't done my homework on the DVD recorder so I may start there again.
You make a good point about the capture card, I was looking at cards because of the variety of options is...
I want to capture TV programs to my hard drive and burn to a DVD. All I want is a simple card or stick that I can connect to my cable antenna (comcast) not through a cable box and burn to a DVD.
I do not need HD since I am making them for my daughter in college who only has a standard dvd...
This is a funny thread. I never went through so many emotions, excitement and depression, struggled with wants and needs, quickly calculated where I could put in another cooling fan in my case in the 1 minute or so it took to read so far..... :)
Yeah Joker
I have had two of these units, but I bought the identical from *****.
The first one only seemed to work ok. My problem was it tended to wander off frequency and had to be changed about once every 1/2 hour (which is easy) or so around town. Out of the city it was fine. It was...
Strange, don't know what would do it. My son and I use Anydvd, clonedvd, dvd shrink, dvd decrypter in various conbinations over time and have used +R and -R for backups of all our movies. I have noticed they do not have the same quality upconverting as my original dvd. I have a 1080i Panasonic...
Wow, I really like this unit. I bought 2 about 9 months ago for me and my son. Both work flawlessly. I saw the ad today and plan on getting one for my daughter.
I have no clue what the previous poster problem is unless he has a bad unit and/or isn't using HDMI which of course you need to get...
Thanks, I bought this same card a year or two ago and it worked just fine for a internet/workstation computer. I've bought a number of EVGA products with rebates and haven't had a problem so far. I picked one up as a spare, since a few people around me still have old AGP systems as their second...
Thanks, I honestly didn't realize Nero would do MP3 to CD audio. Worked fine.
I know what I'm getting into as far as sound quality. I converted all my old CDs to MP3 on my computer and listen to them at home and on my MP3 player all the time. Just wanted to throw some songs together to drown...
I'm new to this. I have lots of MP3s on my computer and would like to convert to an audio CD format and burn a CD that I can listen to in my car.
I have converters for CD to MP3 but can you go the other way? Preferably freeware.
Thanks
M
Well, I bit. I needed a decent PSU for a new build and was looking along this line anyway. I was going to put it together in a cheap coolermaster case to get up and running - but why bother when you can get both for a good price. I really like the Sonata I have had for years, but need to move on...
Thanks - she showed me the limitation on the promotion - on the card I think, so I guess this is a different promotion.
This is a good deal. I've done this at other restraunts and stores where you buy the gift card for yourself and also use the bonus dollars to create a discount for purchases...
Could you check the limitations.
My wife and I got burned about 2 years ago on this deal at my local Chilies. I had 4 - $5 cards (we gave away the $50 gift cards to our kids) on the last day they were valid we decided to go to Chilies to use them up. Our bill was about $40 and they only...
Yessir. They took a minimal path to avoid potential the obvious BBB issues, not to make things right. Personally, their email response to me PO'd me more than ignoring me, and I am not buying from them during this holiday season - my peragotive.
I didn't anticipate spending my afternoon reading amazon reviews.
I'm thinking of printing out pictures of all the 'also viewed products', pinning them on the wall and using string to find all the correlations and relationships....; I'm having way too much fun.
Thanks op!
For my own personal taste Starbucks is nowhere near as good as Caribou Coffee. As others have also noted mid-morning is worse for some reason at Starbucks and 10-12 is almost almost funny for a lot of locations.
But.........free is always good, so thanks OPl
No it is the xp standard welcome screen. Also I didn't change anything, it just stopped doing fast switch. This was my spare computer and only had one user for about a year. My main computer mobo died and I set up my wife on the spare also. Worked fine for 2 weeks then a few days ago my wife...
There are only two user accounts on my computer and all of a sudden we can't fast switch between accounts. When you start-log off-switch user and you go to the welcome screen and click on the other account, all that happens is a screen flash and you are back to the welcome screen. The only way...
Crap, my old, old, old company was going to buy a dozen but got only two. I think two years later they were still trying to figure a way to make them pay for themselves.
My DFI expert with x2 3800, PNY 7900, 2x1gb corsair won't display anything. I put it in standby and now I can't get any video. I reset cmos and popped battery. When it boots I hear the post beep, everything spins up but no video. Tried different cards, monitors other slot etc but can't get any...
What about a simple cmos reset via jumper or pop the battery? I had an ECS that did this occasionally when the PSU and Monitor were unplugged to work inside the case. I'd reset cmos and it would boot up fine in default bios. This was the only way it would boot up when this happened.
edit...
I just installed upgrades from scratch on two different computers with two different xp home software packages. Both required a disk of previous OS be inserted during install. I had some win98's laying around so I was good.
Fyi I never noticed before, but during install, on the windows screen...
Nice list. I've been using a few of these for a long time. Try Keepass, its a nice simple password storage program my wife and I use. There are a few others programs from the list I'm now going to try.
Thank you, thank you.
Been looking for a sub-$100 PSU for a week or two just waiting for a good deal. This is superb for $65. Great steal for mid level.
