Quick 401k Rollover Question

New money is in a rollover IRA. The $4K is sitting on my desk in check form to my name. It sounds like this is an ambiguous situation - I'll just create a Roth IRA and deposit it there.

Quick 401k Rollover Question

It was a total of ~$17K, $13K of which was transferred over electronically, and $4K was via check, that is in my name. My understanding is that the $17K was pre-tax contributions, and the $4K was post-tax.

I think they're mistaken, based on saying that the 64GB model doesn't come with the stylus. I have the 64GB model, and it certainly came with a stylus in the box - even though I lost it already.

How many credit cards do you have?

Was just trying to emphasize how much money people leave on the table when it comes to spending money. Every time I see someone use a debit card at a register makes me cringe.

I have 24 cards, and I'm 23. My credit score as of August 4th is 782. I've flown in first class for free to various locations, and stayed in 5* hotels for free. Thank you very much, Chase, Citi, and Amex!

What was your GMAT score? If you're concerned about getting your money's worth...it probably won't make sense to go to a MBA program unless its top-20...maybe even top-15/10.

LOL what? Do NOT listen to this advice. I went to a private university that had a top-5 engineering program, and I had plenty of engineering friends who were able to have a normal social life and went out regularly on the weekends (and sometimes during the week). I can't imagine spending 4 years...

Garage just called me - they said the entire radiator needs to be replaced because its leaking the fluid. They're pricing it at $550 with labor...is that reasonable? They also said the "AC Coolant Condenser" shifted on impact, and that should be replaced too. That's another $300. I've never...

Based on some research I've done online, it looks like I can't check fluid levels without lifting the car up. I have no way to do that. Does this mean I need to get my car towed to the local shop? It's ~2.5 miles downhill.

ATV2 + XBMC how is it?

Yeah, all of the above. I can play the same files using a WDTV Plus using the same network cable with no problems. The movie starts playing for about a second or two before it requires buffering. I have no idea what the deal is. Maybe its worth restoring to factory and start over?

It's 4.4.1. I just realized I was on eden beta 1, not beta 2. Updating now, will see if that fixes things. EDIT: Even with b2, it is still buffering HD content.
