That's what I did. I had two 256MB ValueRAM sticks in DC from when I first built my PC, and now with another pair of ValueRAM, I've got a gig in DC.

Toslink OPTICAL cable, 50 foot s-video/audio cable. and a 1-2 optical splitter.

Ah. My plan was to get a cheaper component switcher and just split the optical signal so I wouldn't have to pay 5x for the full-on Pelican switcher. Oh well, at least now I know of a cheap source for optical cables!

Hmm... That optical splitter says it'll take one output and spit it out to two inputs (example describes one MD player to two receivers.) Anyone know if it'll work the other way around? Specifically, I want to hook up both a PS2 and Xbox to a receiver's single optical input.

D'oh! Back up to $149 (but still free shipping). Hopefully it drops back down again soon. Though there are some decent IDE deals, I don't have any more connectors, nor do I think it would be worth it to just upgrade my 160gig to a 250gig.

Did it all work out automatically without a manager override? When i bought the PC3200 256MB on sale for $25 this week, the manager had to do an override. It would be nice to not draw their attention to this obscenely handy coupon.

Last time (a year or two ago) I tried to give them sealed games, they were pissed (as the same sort of cheap game trade-in 'o-rama was going on at the time) and told me to at least leave the store, take off the wrapper, then come back. So my guess is...no. Could give it a shot, though.
