just an update, I got my computer switched over to Standard PC and I get some fps increase, but I still crash. I think it has something to do with my sound card possibly. If only there was win2k drivers SOMEWHERE on the net for diamond MX300
just an update.. I tryed reverting to standard PC like the second post said and indeed I had no conflicts. I also went from 170 frames per second in my quake 3 timedemo to 100. I tryed reverting to ASPCI or whatever and I ran into a crash upon boot problem. So I just reinstalled :/

I recently installed windows 2000 and I must say I'm VERY impressed with it. Probably the best OS I've ever ran. I have a problem with Quake 3 crashing almost every time I play. Happens about 20 minutes into a game. Is there a way I can run event log to help me locate what the problem might be?
Hi I can't seem to list directories on certain ftp servers from behind my router. I am 192.168.0.2 on the router. I can login fine.. but when the server gets to trying to list a directory, it simply stops. If you have had a similar problem, or can help in any way, please post here!
