Help: display corrupted

I had the same problem for years with my ATI AIW .. I tried 100s of things from hardware acceleration tweaks to cleaning the card. Ulimately RMAed it with ATI .. Never had a problem since then ... So time to replace/RMA your card .. or atleast try a similar model from a place where you can...

Oh thanks .. didn't see it earlier.. seems like the PSU failure affected my eyesight :cool: Hey, by the way, I installed Intel Application Accelerator last night .. before this fiasco. The computer did restart nicely at first. Do you think some weird mobo changes have occured because of that?

Yes it is it Revision A2 (next to seriel #) .. The packaging was excellent - nicely sealed.. I was so happy to see it until my hopes and my computer came crashing down! Well, I will try my Antec 350W tonight and post my results ...

Yes .. my Antec 350W has been pulling the system nicely. But let me try that again tonight .. It's just too much hassle to undo the connections with my 8 hard drives and two video cards + lots of junk (... that the reason I upgraded to 600 W)

ewiz is selling these PSUs on ebay for 100+25 Shipping. I ordered the 3rd last one. These guys seem to be doing a lot sale for seasonic.. so hopefully will have latest version (if not then I guess, I'll RMA with Seasonic). They are claming t to be brand new in retail box, and that it complies...

ATI FM tuner ... I don't know if I even have it?

Thanks for your reply jonesthewhine. No, actually I have checked ATI website. My card specs do not say that I have FM, but nor do they say that I do not have FM. According to ATI Multimedia Center manual, the FM transmission uses TV tuner .. so I guess, my card should have FM .. no?

ATI FM tuner ... I don't know if I even have it?

Hi! Am I missing something very obvious? I have two ATI AIW cards installed in two of my computers: 1. AIW 32MB Radeon and 2. AIW 8500 128MB Both of them have MMC 9.02 installed on them. Now, unlike what the MMC manual says, I cannot see any buttons for FM .. or any way to turn it on...

That's good news Jcollins. Please keep us posted. By the way, I never had CCC installed .. so am not sure if STOP: 0x0000008E error was because of it. Most of the threads I went though point to a fauly memory stick....

What is the maximum length of Cat 5 cable that you can run?
