Just got off the phone with these jokers! they also wanted me to fax them all kinds of non-essential stuff. I told them that I would not and if they would not correct the warranty length, I would return the used drive to OM and contest charge with CC.
Will give them a couple days...
These are not those copies made by some guy with a DVC. They are the real deal, produced by MGM and UA. Crap this as you like, it's the real deal and IMHO pretty kewl having these releases way ahead of the Country.
Read on the rebate form for the deal at MicroCenter that required the rebate to be post marked on the same day as the date of purchase... keep a look out for this on all these Maddog deals.
Got you guys beat...just got my copy from Maylasia.. has been released there already $8.00 shipped. Took 3 weeks to receive in USA. Also got the Two Towers. Very kewl.
I own that model, under the trade name Magic Star. Got off Ebay $47 shipped, the 128mb flavor. Ok sound, I like the included rechargeable l-ion battery. Very decent performance even with USB V. 1.1
