    Take a VIA Crusoe or Transmeta 1ghz CPU and stick that on the card. Remember, they run fanless. Add on maybe 512mb or 1ghz Laptop memory and there we go, end of bottlenecks. Or is this too simple? Michael.

    It worked! Ran Regedt and removed everything which was named Outlook Express, reinstalled and it's fine. Strange how it got corrupted in the first place, though. Thanks for the idea! Michael.

    Nope, a standard P3 Tualatin only has 256k L2 cache, same as the Celeron. On the otherhand, only a P3 S (Server) has the 512k L2 cache, which is why they are far more expensive to buy. Michael.

    Because basically, it's a P3 chip, the only difference being that it has hardware pre-fetch turned off. It's an excellent upgrade because you can easily cannibalise parts from an old system to use. It's easily fast enough for most PC use, I even use mine for video encoding and audio work...
