Hi all,
I recently had to replace a bad inverter on my LCD monitor. I've replaced it and everything works fine, my only question is: what is the white stuff that was covering some of the solder points? and should I worry about replacing it?

I sprained my ankle camping this weekend (ouch!). Long story short I don't haven't been to the doctor since I moved to Seattle so I was wondering if anyone here knew of someone good. I live close to UW so anyone there would be great. Thanks.
My boss wants me to put together a pc for him because is current pc (a Compaq) is dying. I usually build all of my pc's but I really don't want to be responsible for everything that may go wrong so I'm looking for a pre-assembled pc. I've used Micron and dell in the past but its been awhile...

I need to find a way to get from Midway to O'Hare at 2:00am on Friday. Any advice?
Long Version
I am going to Chicago for a meeting this weekend (Friday - Sunday). I just got my itinerary and noticed that my assistant got me a fight that lands at Midway at 2:00 am and...
Yeah I have done that but it doesn't seem to help anymore. One person even sent me a fake paypal email "confirming payment" and they demanded that I ship to them. Good thing I never click on a link from a paypal email. I logged on the paypal myself and sure enough no payment.
I've been trying to sell my old laptop for about 3 months now. Every time I list it on eBay I get a Nigeria scam. That happened 4 times in a row so I finally gave up once my listing fees went over $100. So I turned to craigslist, then BAM, another scammer. At least this won't cost me any...

Well, maybe they will go winless but opening day will still be fun.
If you don't think that surgeons have "regular" conversations when performing surgery, then you have a much more glamorous look on the profession that what exists. They are in surgery every day and parts of even the most difficult surgery's become routine.
The last couple of items I've sold I end up having to list a couple of times because of those damn Nigerian scams. Even when immediate payment is required. Happened again this morning.

I work in a small office (11 employees) and we recently switched over to an off site IMAP email system (previously we hosted an exchange server). My boss is addicted to outlook, basically because he uses win mobile 5 on his handheld and he like the calendar function. I personally like...
Well what we have figured out is that we can afford about $250 a month in car payments so it will have to be a loan. I guess I'm looking at anything 12k and under (preferably lower of course).
with a room of that size a nice projector can work even though its tight. The main thing will be light control. How much light will be coming through that window.
I agree with a previous poster who said to split the room with the couch. 22' is a long way to watcha 42" screen but 7-12''...
yeah not looking for anything special. Her last car was a Jeep (go figure) I liked having a SUV around if we needed to move anything but the mileage was utter crap so I'm thinking of a used Honda or something.
Well its official my GF's car has died. We can get by for awhile with one car but with both of our jobs being so far apart and public transport being difficult from where we are, we are looking for a new car this weekend.
Of course I will be checking out used car but I want to know my...
I need someone to help me plan my finances. No matter how much I make it all seems to disappear. Is there such a thing as a financial planner whom show me how to save better and set spending limits?
I'm trying to archive my dvd collection and I've been playing with some software and different settings. So far everything has looked terrible. I've been using Handbrake at a bitrate of 2500 in h.264.
I know that the best would be to back up to VIDEO_TS folders but space may be a factor...
