Need mATX Z170 recommendation using Intel IGP

Thanks for the info. I haven't build a system in a while, would the 512MB max share for the Gigabyte hinder day to day bluray / streaming? Can't find much info on that using my google-fu... The Supermicro looks interesting with the DP, will look into it.

I think everyone here has gotten my post wrong a bit...I'm htinking about the X800 XT PE, not 850! HUGE price difference! 3500+ = $275 3800+ = $428 6800GT = $419 X800 XT PE = $519 All prices from Newegg/Zipzoomfly Hopefully this clears things up a bit...

FIXED, pls delete

Hello all, I did a search and can't find an answer to my problem. I am tryin to install Windows 2000Pro into my SATA drives. I hit F6 when prompt and was able to load drivers from floppy. But here's when things get weird. After I chose my Nvidia Nforce Controller, Windows keeps loading...

SYSTEM WON'T STAY ON, need help ASAP please

A couple of things... This is a new built, so no dust, no OS, no virus... CPU temp showing in BIOS as 43C, so I don't think that's it... I will try the power supply...hopefully that aint it, damn thing cost me $107! Can this be the MB? Thanks for the help...

Here is my problem: Newly built system keeps turning itself off. I have to unplug and replug the system inorder to turn it on again. After about 2-3mins, systems shuts down again without notice. This is a brand new system with no OS, just put together and trying to install OS...etc...

Looking For Good Aluminum Case

Have you considered the Thermaltake Tsunami? It is a basically a Wavemaster, but uses 2 120mm fans instead = quieter and more efficient cooling. It is priced very similar to the Wavemaster...

Michael, Thanks for the info, same for you sparky. Man, now it looks like I'm having second thoughts on the Lian Li. Problem is that I want a case with 2 120MM fans to cut down on noise, and there are not that many cases out there with 2 120mm fans. The quest continues....

Antec TRUE 430 is one of the best I've ever used. It is extremely quiet and will be able to handle most systems.

AMD64 3200+ 754 or 939 with MSI K8N Neo??

I will be using the stock HSF until ThermalRight comes out with their new HSF for A64. From what I hear, the stock HSF is adequate. The probelm with the mobile A64 is compatibility issues with the MSI board and HSF issues, unless I am mistaken. So does anyone know which socket overclocks...

Thank you all for your help. I don't plan on overclocking, a bit too risky on the Shuttles, heat being such an issue. Looks like I'm getting my 1GB of Crucial memory!
