I require wireless internet access and improved security amidst other features present in IPv6 that arent in IPv4.
So for a network with internet access I would have to register an ipv6 address via my ISP?
and for a network without internet access I'd have to process it through the DHCP server?
Hi, I was just wondering whether there was a process to register ipv6 addresses? Is this allocated through the ISP or is there a unique procedure to do so (for a private network not connected to the net)?
Not sure if this is the right place to post it but I have a FSP AX500-A (Fortunetec) with ratings of:
# DC output:500W
# Max A output:12V1:15A, 12V2:16A

Now I've read that the 8800gts requires 26A on the 12V rail as a...
Lol, I gave up 2 days ago.. many australian resellers had an expected "in stock" date of late january. Now they're saying sometime in February. Dates keep changing and it doesnt look like the 3850 agp will be coming out for a while.
So yea, I give up, I recently acquired a pentium D for free...
Yea, But that's the GPU core temperature I take it. Does your card have ramsinks? or a temperature monitor for the ram temperature? Just unknown as to whether this card actually cools the video ram well enough.
I noticed this up on the leadtek website, with a chart of the GPU and Memory temps going down by 20 and 10 degrees celcius respectively. (comparitively with the stock cooling)
I can't seem to find a website that has reviewed this card and has proved leadteks claims with their zalman cooler...
I believe they are all waiting for ATi to release their next driver so that they can bundle it with their video cards and ship them out. I read somewhere on fudzilla that ATi would be releasing their new drivers on the 23rd of Jan. Of course, 3rd party manufacturers like sapphire and gecube...
I'd agree that you'd get a decent improvement. I'm one of those people who bought a S939 board based on an agp slot. I've got a A64 X2 4400+ with a 6600GT that died not so long ago =P So yea, the 3850 agp is indeed good news.
I've a 600W seasonic S12 PSU, so I don't believe I would need a new...
ahh, so I can just go for the cheapest 8800GTS then. I guess its now a matter of reliability/durability instead of 2d quality.
Thanks for the response guys, much appreciated. =)
so leadtek 8800's are made by asus? wow. I remember back in the geforce 2 days... many brands besides leadtek were hella blurry at higher resolutions. =P
Well the card is uber cheaper than other famous brands (Leadtek, Asus etc), around 100AUD cheaper. Just worried about the sharpness of 2d images since i do graphics design in addition to gaming ;)
Point of View 8800GTS. I'm contemplating about buying this card, although i'm unsure of the 2d quality of the "point of view" brand in general. I currently own a leadtek 6600GT and the 2D quality is great (@1600x1200x85hz)
So i was wondering if anyone has had any experience with POV cards and...
when i try to open the .ppt file i saved with mac, on windows, i get the error:
"Powerpoint can't open the type of file represented by *insert file path here*"
is there a way to make the powerpoint file open in windows?
thank you for your time.
The mac is using microsoft powerpoint...
I need a program which can create both cell based and path based animations. I'm planning to create the animation then import it into Microsoft Powerpoint. Any ideas on programs which i can use?
Thank you for your time.
well, take lineage II for example, you can download the full client off their site, after that u can patch the client so that u can play on private servers (thus no need for paying), wouldn't that be considered an unethical practice?
ok, so i've seen several private servers for various MMO's available. If people pay to play on the official servers, isn't it unfair (illegal) to play on private servers?
well, thanx for your input.. apparently i didn't have the div3 audio codec installed... i thought that would be included in the divx codec which i already have installed, apparently not.
now it works , thanx all =)
i think it got corrupted during download. i have gotton a freeware program that repairs avi files, however.. it did not repair the audio segment. Is there any other program that repairs both audio and video for an avi file?
thanx.
