Replaced the power supply with another one that was exactly the same model. Still the same problem. Ordered a new PS, hopefully it will work.

XP runs scandisk on my D: drive every boot

Thanks for the offer. It still had the same problem... I switched out the battery with a new one and also replaced the power supply. Still no luck.. I have email the problem to the company I purchased it from and am waiting on a response. Thanks for any additional help. Carl
