Coloring CD drive front

You should be able to pop the faceplate off of the drive itself before you paint it, this will save you the problem of potentially getting anything in the drive and thus seriously screwing it up.

Why do you think apple computers are used in almost all TV/Movies?

I don't really think there is that big of a difference. Its just that Macs are easy to spot as a Mac while a PC can be from many different vendors and thus you don't identify it as one brand over another. There is also the whole idea of product placement. More often then not, if you look at...

Dude, seriously, if you have 40-50K sitting around, get a financial planner and let them set you up sweet. If not the get a Money Market Index. General rates of return are about 4-5% and you're money isn't tied up at all, you just can't use it like a regular account, only for big withdraws...

the best way i've found to kill them is just take a soda bottle (pop for the real mid-westerners) and collect them. A little water in the bottom and they don't escape. Once it gets to sick to look at the bottle, i throw it out and a new one is started...

How should I package a motherboard for sending through mail?

No, it depends on the form factor of the board. ATX is pretty universal in that they vary by 1/2 an inch , but between form factors the dimensions are quite different. Make sure your friend gets insurnace on the thing too. Accidents can always happen and it will really be worth it.

Anyone else think the CGI in Matrix Reloaded looks really bad?

That one scene with Neo fighting the replicated Agent Smith cost 4 Million... for a minute and a half of screen time. I doub't its as bad as you may think. Until we all see this on the big screen we have no room to complain... TV sucks. Also, as for comparison to LotR... I am a diehard LotR...
