Having to pay close to $400 in shipping must have sucked, cause when I RMA my AV-19TF it cost like $85 to ship.

Im am heading to CompUSA today, and was curious for anyone who received the 128mb one in the 64 box, if there are any clear giveaway on the box, or the board itself.
All this will be before installantion as I am going to see if a compUSA person will open a box for me.

I like my KDS monitor, its competively cheap in price, and if something goes wrong deal with KDS was extremely easy to get a RMA without proof of purchase(since the ID on the back of my monitor was within the manufacting warranty range) Only thing that suck was spending the $80 to ship it but...

Do you wash your hands prior to installing?
or do your hands sweat alot when installing?

Your hands can pick up a lot of toxins and such which may have gotten onto the chip.
Also if your hands did sweat water is a conductor and could have caused a linakge between the pins.

Although the LCDs will come down in price, eventually.
CRTs are becoming obsolete. Stores do not want to take up the Shelf space of these monsters. You are more likely to see liquidations of these models on stores before you see the price of LCDs come down.
