I don't know for sure, but I have a Madddog Predator (5.1) sitting in my unused peripheral pile, and it won't work. It has to have a notch close to the back of the card. If it only has one notch toward the front, you're sol.
I'm sitting here in my 10x10 room with 4 PCs running, and the only one I hear (without my headphones) is my 600SC. It is louder than normal, but if ya need a server, it's an awesome deal. If you don't need a server, I'd suggest looking for a different deal.

Another option for audio on the 600SC is USB audio. I picked up the Sonica from M-Audio.
Link. It works fine on my 600SC with W2k Advanced Server. Fine for playing MP3s, but not for heavy gaming. But then again, who buys a server for heavy gaming?
