I thought it was a stretch but I just rebooted router. :) .... ALL good now!!....
Truly weird.
My internet/network is fine EXCEPT I cannot reach my TP Link router 192.168.0.1. From a browser (IE or Chrome) every time I get "this site cannot be reached."
If you don't mind copying a 2GB file to this drive what is your sustained speed??? Shouldn't I expect faster sustained speeds. When I pug in an external USB docking station and plug in a bare drive I get sustained 120MB/sec transfer speeds. I just figured from this USB 3.0 thumb it would be...
I just received in 2 USB 3.0 Sandisk Flair drives and the max transfer rate I can get is 9MB/s. It starts at 36MS/s which would be great but within about 15 sec it drops to about 9 the entire transfer.
I have an Asus laptop on Win10 that has all 3.0 usb slots. I have tried formatting as FAT32...
I just did a reload on HP Vostro Win 7 laptop but for some reason the Windows updates will not pick up. It just says "Checking for updates". I even let it go overnight with nothing. I have rebooted numerous times. The reload went without a hitch
Thanks for any suggestions..
This is truly an awesome laptop with an irritating problem I cannot get fixed. The problem outlined below was not an issue under Windows 8.1. It has only surfaced after the upgrade to Win 10.
It will intermittently not go into suspend mode. I will close my lid and the battery is at say...
I have searched and searched and either very few people have issues like me or few people are using Chromecast. I will say both my son and I have Chromecasts and we are experiencing similar issues. It makes me think I have router incompatibilities. FYI.. I have a Cisco 4200 wireless router...

I just bought a APC BackupUPS 550G a few months ago and and I just just lost power to everything in my house and the desktop PC I have plugged into into the UPS also went down. What am I missing?? I have the USB cable plugged into the UPS from the desktop. Probably something stupid...
Thanks for everyone's suggestions but since my son's XBOX is the only thing hanging off this I am going to postpone this for a while since my son has decided to move 70 miles away and live with his girlfriend and her mom. WTF is up with this generation??!!! He has one chance to get ahead. He...
Crazy...I know. My new Linksys 4200 (R1) is not running DDWRT. Yes...I plug into R2 directly and I am passed thru to the R1 challenge.
I did run the netscan program from the machine behind R2 and I do not see the MAC of R2...WTH???
I just got a new main router (Linksys 4200). I'll call this R1. So I am trying to reset my Asus WL520GU. I'll call this one R2. This one had been setup as a wireless bridge. I have now reset it with the 30/30 to reconfigure it to point to the new R1. I am plugged directly into R2 but how do...
Anyone have a recommendation for "saving" my router settings??? I see over the past 4 years I have created static for some devices, done some port forwarding and other things....This will be a mess starting over....
I have the Dlink DIR-655 but I don't see a way to save my settings...
Thanks Jack..loading that program behind my wireless bridge helped me see it. Funny ...from my router I do not see devices behind this access point. On to my second problem...remembering the password to the DD-WWRT router.... rats!
Thanks guys...but maybe I not explaining myself or maybe I am brain farting.
Jack...As you suggested I connected a laptop into the WAN port on the DD-WWRT enabled router and specified a static IP it is still connecting to the my main router. rats!
I know I am doing something stupid but...???
Embarrassing/stupid question... I need to replace my main wireless router and in another part of my house I setup an old Asus wireless router as a wireless bridge. I did this years ago and for the life of me I can't remember how to get into the DD-WRT Asus router acting as the wireless bridge...

The only thing that I have not seen mentioned is that there could be a password set on the router that you will need in order to config the MAC filtering. You could always reset it and start from scratch...
The following check will analyze for any issues...
