Which CPU Fan to get for quad core

The stock fan should be fine for the Q6600 at stock speed. It is afterall approved by Intel. I would follow the advice above and clean off the stock mounting "goop" that Intel has put on the heatsink, and replace with a little AS5. As for after market coolers, there are alot of good choices...

Need some NiMH AA's and a charger

Eneloop or RayOvac Hybrid over any of the standard Nimh cells. They are worth the extra $. I recently saw some Duracell branded "PreCharged" rechargables that would fit into this group but haven't heard about performance yet.

Thanks guys. I picked up a Samsung 226BW at CC today. Hooked it up and booted my comp, it actually brought up my desktop at a default of 1680x1050! Absolutely painless. Now I just need to put together that new box to run to it.

Is it bad that I run my Athlon Xp 1800+ at 100%
