Upgrading cdrom for PS2 ??

I only said CD-ROM cuz most of my games are on CD, not DVD. But then again I haven't bought any PS2 games for a long time :-\

Console games on an lcd monitor

My Cornea CT1702T has S-video, VGA, RCA, DVI, and coaxial inputs I use the S-video for the PS2, RCA for the gamecube, DVI for the computer, coaxial for cable tv, and VGA occasionally to connect extra computers The console games look great and so does my desktop. Theres some USB and firewire...

hooking up multiple systems to one monitor

My monitor has multiple connections so I can connect a couple computers at the same time ... I've seen a cable that can do it, I can't remember where i've seen it from tho ... If i find a link I'll post it

Why do people "upgrade" to 3.4 if its gonna cause problems? my CATALYST 2.4 works fine with powerDVD.

Is there a real reason to update my catalyst drivers? I just noticed that I have version 02.4 (It came with hte card) I keep hearing problems about the new ones. Are there any real benefits for updating?

Aren't those coaxial cables and not optical? I always thought it worked by having a current go through the middle wire and a current going the other direction through the shell ... not optics

DVI and Radeon 9700 Pro

Voodoo 3 3000 with CT1702 on analog looks fine for me. The text is nice and crisp. no ghosting or color bleeding ... One day I'll try the DVI connection tho :) the monitor supports it but i dont have a vid card that does

what's a nice 17 or 18" lcd?

I have a Cornea CT1702 and I think this is quality :) Colors are very good, nice and bright, sharp, 20ms, and a ton of different inputs

Well ... Currently, I'm using analog for my cornea since I don't have a vid card that supports DVI yet Everything's nice and crisp. Digital can only get better :)

No one ever looks at my Cornea :( ^Contrast ratio: 500:1 higher is better ... but the #'s vary. There's an article somewhere about that on anandtech or tomshardware
