I went out at midnight with my now ex and his brother. Dranka few till close then slept, drove home and slept, went to dinner and got some more beer. Then my brother and his fiance and my now ex went to a bar, and they paid for all my drinks, and I got pretty stupid. Had a good time though...

how do you talk with someone who wants to kill themselves?

Ok, this sounds lame, and I have never actually been in the situation myself.. but when I was in training to be an RA at my school, they taught us to ask specifi questions. There were 4 and I don't remember them all, but I know you ask them if they want to commit suiside, and if they say yes...

Oh, they have a card with everything written down on it, and they put in what they think is wrong. Then, when I move in, I go over the card, and put anything else I see on it. Then they go through it when I leave, and anything new gets charged/ However, my brother had a bad landloard once...

First Apt!!

I just got back from filing out my lease agreement, and so now I offically have my first apartment! I'm so excited, it's very nice :-D 800 sq feet, one bedroom, with a den/office/guest bedroom. Great view, lots of windows, and reasonably priced. Best part, all of 1.5 miles from school...

Poor Horse...

I agree, I htink the horse is too large to just "fit" inside the winshiled. But if it's a halflinger... they are very strdy, but short, so Iguess I could almost see it happening. So sad though. My friends horse got hit by a car once, and it did a crap load of damage, and killed the horse...

Poll: Action flick or chick flick?

I actually went and saw Holes the other night. It was actually pretty good, considering it was based off a children's book. Alot of deep concepts and made you kinda think a little. However, for you, if going with an SO, go see Down with Love, if not, see the Matrix.

Legalization of working women.

The only reason I would agree with this is b/c you know people still do it anyway, if it was legalized, it would be standardized. Therefore you could cut down on the spread of diseases, and have higer quality prostitues, lol. Kinda like how they now require testing of all porn stars for STDs...

Anyone know West Milford or Ringwood in New Jersey?

You'd be hard pressed to find somewhere in NJ that it takes 30 mins to go to the grocery store. I live in a "boonie" area and we have a target and applebees 10 mins from my house... and that area is close to lake hopatcong, very nice area. And it's not far from 287. My suggestion though, go...

Which anime movie to start with for a newbie?

Tenchi is goo dand funny, but better as a series. Princess Monoke was relaly good, as was lodos war (but that's pretty long) Macross is also a series that I really enjoyed.

Post your method of calculating pi.

actually, i just use 3.14... or leave it as pi and odn't bother calculating it. I have only taken stat 215, calc I &II and Physics I and II in college, and it's worked well enough. I hope to never have to use it again!
