I have a question???

I would like to join your team but i have a question or two... When you say the programs use my spare idle cycle... what does that mean? Will it cause my cpu to work hard all the time? Do these programs have conflicts with windows or known windows programs? also i only leave my computer on...

Experiences with Quicken?

Yah i had the same problem with my bank statements and online bill pay. I didn't feel like switching banks so i set up free (Quicken is not free) on-line bill pay through my bank and just D/L the statements.

Experiences with Quicken?

How do I fix my system restore?

Dont know how to fix the problem, but you do know that you dont have to go through MSCONFIG to run system restore. If you didn't know: its in SYSTEM TOOLS under the START menu.

How fast can I make this laptop??

Can anyone tell me how to update my bios? I have downloaded the current drivers, opening them in windows just flashes the doss prompt really fast. Do I need to flash my bois, if so how do you do that?? Shuttle AK35GT2 Xp2200

All 3d Games Crash (HELP PLZ)

I hand the same problem with my xp2200, try updating your bios. It worked for me, hope this helps...

Mouse keeps moving to edge of screen

Clean the touch pad really well, If that doesn't work adjust the sensitivity, if that doesn't work reinstall the touch pad drivers, if that doesn't work send it in for repairs. Thats all i can think of.

Computer randomly shutting down

I had the same problem with my XP2200. When playing a game the computer would just shut down. When i upgraded the Bios it fixed the problem.

I?m currently running Windows XP Pro on my computer. It seems that I always have to do a system restore or a clean install. So, I am fed up with windows and I don?t want to spend money on a new Mac (I hear they run a lot better). So is Linux worth the switch? Will it have compatibility problems...

Upgrading to a P4 2.4 400mhz in a Laptop

The Ashton Digital 2048 Does not offer the P4 Mobile chip, only the standard P4 400mhz bus. The graphics controller is the Sis 650 which uses shared memory. Before i purchased this unit I called the Tech dept at Ashton Digital and asked them about it, they told me that it was faster then any...

Upgrading to a P4 2.4 400mhz in a Laptop

I tried lowering the res. to 800X600 when playing Mohaa. There was no difference in picture quality, however the game ran a lot faster. I never thought to lower the desktop res, thanks DAPUNISHER it really helped, now I'm not sure if i want to upgrade.:confused:

Thanks, I know what you mean by not being worth the cost. Thats my biggest hangup, i dont want to spend 150.00 for a chip that wont do much in my lap. For that big of a jump in mhz it better do wonders for my lap.
