SSD for LSI Cachecade?

I see some general Sandforce negatives, but I'm wondering if people have specific experience with 520 drives and cachecade 2.0. I can extrapolate along with all the rest of you, but I'm wondering if anyone has direct Intel 520 + Cachecade 2.0 experience, good or bad.

On Budget - Alienware Vs HP vs Systemax vs Cyberpower or keep current

Keep an eye out for Cyberpower sales and promotions. They just happened to have one running when I ordered mine, it reduced the cost about 10% over the non-sale price (I had specced it out a week prior to that.) And yes, the PC comes with a 3 year warranty + lifetime H/W support. No idea...

[Retired] The LCD Thread

It looks like the KDS does NOT support monitor based scaling. The screenshot with proper scaling was done through the ATI control panel, i.e. with GPU scaling. Any monitor "supports" this since its not doing the work. This means that a BluRay Player, PS3 and 360 at 1080p will not look right...

Anyone have the Westinghouse LCM-22w2?

A 22" monitor with 1680x1050 resolution has slightly smaller pixels than a 24" with 1920x1200. I have a Dell 2405fpw and I can see the pixel structure slightly but then I have good eyesight. Personally I think 24" is too big, and 22" might be a little large for gaming, depending on the distance...

There are quite a few AGP 6800GTs available at newegg for this price. Some are single slot, dual dvi, etc. and different manufacturers have different warranties and customer care reputations, so take a look at all the choices for this price and pick what fits your needs best.

socket 939 - when does it get reasonable ($$$-wise) to get ?

The dual processor Nforce 3 boards are juuust about becoming available. At the prices of of socket 939, opterons suddenly dont look that much more expensive :) of course right now nvidia is charging more for their more expensive processors and giving the channel a chance to clear their inventory...

It appears that both Fuji and TDK (and Verbatim) use both Taiwan non-Taiwan (Singapore / MCC) made discs. The Japanese and Singapore discs are better according to general consensus. Be sure to check before you buy - if you care about such things, that is.
