ok, i just recently installed a new mobo, i didnt format and reinstall my os, i just put the new mobo in and installed all the drivers for it. it seems to work just great except for 1 thing, the sound, i cant hardly hear it, i have every volume control that i know of turned all the way up and...

audio to low after installing new ga-7va mobo

i just bought a ga-7va mobo and after installing the audio drivers for it, the volume is way to low, with all volumes turned up all the way i can barely hear it. anybody have any suggestions? im not sure if i posted this in the right forum but it is due to my mobo

just like the topic says. ive decided to go air for cooling but now i cant decide which to get, whats the differences between them?

ok guys, thanx for all your replies. i think youve convinced me to stick with air cooling for now. i dont play to do any serious oc'ing anyway so the slk-8or900 should do the trick.

hmm...some say water, some say air...hmm....my current temps are around 50c to 55c and im not overclocked yet. i plan on oc'ing soon and thats why im asking. does anyone here have an slk900 that can give me some sort of differences it made for you? im curious to how well it cools. also...

ok, ive got a xp 2400+ cpu and im debating on whether to get some sort of watercooling system going or just buy a slk-900 heatsink. what are the benefits of watercooling? how do you set it up ect..ect...

ok, my jaw is lying on the floor right now. you are talking about a 2400+ right? and not 2.4GHz. are you saying you got 1.2GHz overclock? i just want to make sure

my 2400+ wont go 2.0Ghz

lol, well guys, i appreciate all your help. i decided to check my cpu info just outta curiosity and seen that the cpu was lacking in heatsink compound on parts of it (local computer shop told me it didnt need that much) so added a little more and whalla, down from 59C-62C to 51C. i just love it...

well...guys, lemme ask this, does the kind of heatsink compound really matter all that much? and what would be some average temperatures for the 2400?

um...the cpu temps are pretty high, usually between 59 and 63 and im pretty sure i seated the heatsink right, theres only 2 ways it will go right?

ok guys, i woulda deleted my last post but i dont know how, sorry. anyway, i got a 2400+ which is supposed to be 2.0ghz, but its only running at 1.5ghz so im confused. i know if i set the fsb to 133 it will go at 2.0 but then it overheats or just becomes unstable. i got 4 case fans and a nice...

n00b confused 2400+ with 256mb pc133 ram getting to hot

im running a 2400+ 256mb pc133 ram and it gets to hot and shuts down but when i change to 100 its ok. i got 4 case fans a nice big heatsink and fan. whats wrong????
