Nice post with some fancy-schmancy words, but try taking your anti-religion argument to the "Philosophy" forum. A lot of people in here might believe in God, Buddha, etc. *Gasp*
They only needed the control pod and the remote. The sub is still here and works, except that one of the 5 speaker outputs is busted. it's supposedly useless though w/o the control pod. so this is how my computer soundcard is connected to the speakers: soundcard analog -> control pod via...
Can Logitech Z-680 subwoofer be used w/ a standalone home theater receiver?
I RMA'd my Logitech speakers and now I have an extra subwoofer now just sitting in my room (along w/ 5 extra satellites.) I want to try to hook it up to my standalone home theater receiver (cuz my 50-watt KLH sub...
oh ... well my bad. it just said something at first about "FW has saved me tons of money and I want to give back to the Fatwallet community!!!" so i assumed you ripped off from fatwallet.
hey everyone i have the logitech z680 speakers. i was wondering about the hissing that comes out of the satellites, and i know that it's not the sound card, or anything such. the hissing is light, but still noticeable, esp. to people with very trained ears.
since i'm sure a lot of you have...

thanks for the help! I knew that part of it ... but was wondering...is there a way for the speed To be lowered when unplugged, but not lowered when it's plugged in? i want to save power when on battery, but i want optimal power when plugged in (like my good ol' inspiron 8200 p4 speedstep...
hi,
i'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but i got an averatec xp-m 2000+ laptop, with that supposed quantispeed architecture and powernow! technology. it seems to not be doing the power adjustments correctly -- e.g. when its plugged in, it's still slowing the cpu...

Hi everyone,
I've got the WGR614v4 Netgear Router and it's giving me massive headaches. I can't get my laptop to connect to it, sometimes both of my laptops. When I try to connect using windows wireless networking, it doesn't connect -- it just keeps saying "one or more wireless networks are...
Thanks y'all .... I know this is hardware discussion, but do you know when PC2700 SODIMM (or pc3200 for that matter) will drop in price? It seems you can't get it anywhere for less than like $110 or so.
So i just bought a new Averatec 3200 Series laptop, the $750 bestbuy deal. It comes with 256MB PC2700, but to my horror, there is only one RAM slot in it. My older laptop has a 512MB stick of PC2100 RAM and I'm not sure if I should put that stick in to replace the 256MB PC2700 stick, or if I...
I would like to add my bit of thread crap to those who are saying "get this thread out of here", "this isn't a deal at all, move it to P&N", etc:
Well -- the mods aren't listening to you.
This thread is still alive, precisely because it is still a hot deal.
HOT HOT HOT WHOO. $6 for a...
Although i haven't listened to this type of music in a while, I agree that a CD/DVD for $6 of such groups as these is worthy of being a hot deal. If I were 9 years younger, I would have picked this up in a second. Great post in my opinion for those who enjoy this stuff. And for you...
i'm 21 right now, and very poor. if i ever become rich enough to buy bmw's, i hope i wont have to visit this forum too much anymore. in the meanwhile, i love you guys
I'm not sure how much it costs -- maybe the ontrack website has it? It let me recover most of my files though (it showed that there were many errors on data sectors on my drive )-- when windows couldn't access it at all, and norton disk doctor said that there was no volume on the drive. great...
Hey guys ---
I ended up using a program called Easy Recovery Pro, made by Ontrack. I was able to recover most of my files!! apparently the drive must have gottten corrupted or something, due to power surge or some other cause. It's a great program, and I'm lucky my friend had it.
Hello ---
I have a maxtor 80gig hard drive that just seemed to die on me. I have been using it in an external enclosure (cuz i have a laptop), and it suddenly seemed to die on me today. When I turn it on, it makes its usual clicking noise, then it seems to have some kind of off...
Hi, I recently bought from this company called mods4less.com ... I paid $60 for a ps2 accessory on their site through paypal, but then they
1) claimed they never received the order.
I followed up by emailing them several times, and talking to their "online customer support chat...
DVD-R is the officially supported format by the DVD Forum, which is the group that controls the format, naming, and other aspects of DVD. DVD+RW alliance (a bunch of companies like HP, Dell, the movie industry etc.) support the DVD+RW format because they say that it is more effective for...
Weird --- I called to order the DVD drive too and I was told differently -- that the "order date" would reflect when I had originally purchased it. Also, my online order status says "Order date: Fri Apr 04 16:28:00 EST 2003"
Also I had to get the price adjusted cuz it went up like $75 that...
