Poll: Trade in Dreamcast + Games for a PS2/GT3 combo?

I just bought a PS2 last week for my kids (at least that is what I told my wife....shhhhhh). I am going to buy GT3 this weekend. If it is anything like any other race games with the PS2, it will be awesome.

What was the first thread on AT?

The old forums where a lot better....not the design, but the group of people that were around at the time. Not that people today suck or anything like that...it was just more personel then. The analogy that best fits it is like when you and a few of your friends find an out of the way fishing...

Identify this KVM

We have several KVM switches where I work, but I think there is a problem with the firmware and Windows 2000. The Model numbers are CS18-MM (main switch)and LC98-M2. They are 8 port switches and they are over 4 years old.

Maintaining Permissions on Files

after a few hours of inactivity, we have to restart to get DSL to work..... why?

The problem is more than likely dynamic ip's. Do you have a static ip or dynamic? If you have dynamic, I would say that your ip is probably changing. I notice this exact same problem when my IP changes.

Maxtor makes 100gb HD's !!!

I do a lot of video capture and editing for people, by the time I am done I will have about 20GB per person of video. 300GB of storage on my network is no longer enough, I want 1TB of storage.

i wouldn't buy maxtor scsi disks... Maxtor no longer makes SCSI and hasn't done so in years. BUT.....since the merger with Quantum, they may sell SCSI drive but they are Quantum drives. Why is Maxtor doing that? Who needs a 100 GB HD now? Honestly, unless you have an ungodly amount of...

Can't find the other HD even though the BIOS does -** UPDATE - Problem Solved Thanks for Your Help!!

If you system can not handle the 20GB drive, it more than likely had the bios overlay install on it when it was the master boot drive. You will need to install the bios overlay from Maxtor onto the 4GB drive since it is the boot drive. Boot to the Maxblast floppy, goto the advanced options...

Anti-Virus for NT network

Where I work, we use Innoculan IT. It is set up that one server will go out and check for updates every hour, download it if there is one, then once a day the computers on the network check that server for updates. So far, it has caught any virus that has managed to get in.

I hate selling my house!

I know what you mean, I am in the process of selling mine. One couple was at my house for an hour and a half. I was down the street watching and waiting for them to leave. We just had someone back out of their bid because we wanted the normal 72 hours after closing to turn over the house...

Windows not detecting second IDE drive

OK, now I need....

I know how to do it on the individual servers....like I said, I am lazy and wanted some windows based software (point & click) that would look at all the servers, tell me what permissions were on each folder on each server, and allow me to change them.

I have the Midiland 7100 series, it pretty much is the same thing as the 4060 (speakers that is)....my wife says that when we move into our new house...the computer room has to be on the other side of the house and in the basement. That way she doesn't have to listen to all the noise from me...

Wintal, that is sweet. It is exactly what I need. Now, all I have to do is talk management into purchasing a 3 or 5 license agreement. I will be damned if I am gonna pay between $450 and $650 outta my own pocket for that.

Is there a way......

Where I work we run 2000 Domain Controllers with about 500 users. What I would like to know is if there is a program that will go through all the users on the domain and show me the last time that they logged in and give me a report of that.
