agp 8x is off ram cached and fast writes off.Same problem,I am wondering if it is just this card with this motherboard.

Got my 266MHz ram today-tried it and still have the same problem as before
bus is set to 133MHz if I short the cmos I can boot once but when the OS reboots it hangs before POST

I am not tweaking the ram settings.I bought fast memory so it will be an easy upgrade to a 400MHz barton

one big problem however.If I reboot the OS the board won't post and I have to short the cmos AGAIN and start all over.

Ok I messed with this board almost all yesturday and most of today,if I wanted to boot then I had to short the CMOS every time.
I tried updating the bios to 1005 and now it will not do anything at all even if I clear its CMOS

Got my replacement CPU today
hooked it up and was able to get in the BIOS after a couple of tries(it reads my memory's SPD as 200MHz and tries to run at that)
was able to boot into windows several times.
I then made the mistake of going into the bios again and disabling the 3com network...
turns out my board is ok but I think the cpu is fried
no video at all
it will turn on then stay on but without sending any video
I am getting really frustrated
I have not tried it without the cpu yet-I may try that in a while if I feel like messing with it again
but I have had it bare with the cpu and did use a screwdriver on the power on pins-it still did not work.

mine which I bought from ZTstore does work fine for PC games(PSX gamepad).
also the adaptoid works great also(N64 controller that I use with emulators).

they are no longer supporting this card and the driver downloads have been removed from their ftp and webpages.
I emailed them and they said to use the NVidia reference drivers(I would prefer to have the Canopus drivers.
512 MB on my laptop(512 MB RAM),on my desktop(512 MB RAM) I have it set to 1GB(or disabled when capturing video).
seems to work good on these settings although there are a few games that will crash if I have it disabled,also ASUS monitoring utility will get floating point errors when I disable it.
