Whats a good 3dmark05 score for a leadtek PX6600 GT TDH ?

Loosing webcam in device manager when rebooting

Hi, I originally posted this in the motherboard section as i was having usb issues but my other usb device work since I updated my bios so im thinking this is an XP issue. Im getting a strange problem with my webcam (Intel CS630). If I plug in the usb cable when xp is running then it works ok...

Problem booting UT NF4 ultra D with usb device attached

Inspiron 9300 Released

You got the True Life screen ? Is it noticable lower quality than the Sony X Brite? I saw 1920 resolution on a sony 17inch and it was stunning, does the dell even come close ? Thanks

i look forward to a comparison :) If the dell looks anywhere as good as the sony then i'll be all over the 9300 :) Although I did talk to aguy in the Sony shop and their new models should be out within the month (hopefully with 533FSB, PCI-e, decent graphic card etc)

Are there new Sony notebooks coming out ?

I was looking at sonystyle.ca (yes, im in canada :) ) and they seem to have a lot less models than they did a month ago. Are they just clearing out the old stock ? I noticed they are using older cards like the 9700 and slower bus speeds than comparable Dell models.

About to order my first laptop (dell 9300)

Yeah ordering it from canada. From what i can see they only sell in 2 dimm pairs so if I buy 512 i will have to dump both when i upgrade to a gig. edit: Forgot to ask if people think its worth paying for premium support ? or does it suck as much as their standard support ? :)

About to order my first laptop (dell 9300)

No probs :) I was looking at shaving off some of the cost so by dropping to 512mb and going with a 1.73 rather than 1.86 i can get it down to 2619 cdn 300$ more will give me 1gb RAM and a 1.86 processor. Is it worth the extra 300 for these 2 items ? Thanks

thanks, I guess ill have to think about it. Dont know why they have a resolution that high if it makes it hard to read the screen. Guess ill have to go look at a sony vaio or a toshiba with that resolution to see if it will be an issue or not for me.

Newbie overclocking question

Thanks, ill be getting all the parts in the next few weeks (just waiting for the prescott to be released so the prices come down a bit) I think the Lian Li has 4 fans so that should be enough. im also getting a enermax 365p-VE which I hear is a good reliable PSU. I cant wait to play..... :)
