The performance of the 8MB cache makes the biggest difference in Hard drives. If you look at Western Digital 8MB Special edition versions, there is a significant increase in performance vs. the 2MB WD version. Therefore, the 8MB for the Maxtor is well worth the extra $ vs the Seagate with 2MB...
Outpost shipped to the west coast of the US with ground in 4-5 days even though they are located on the east coast. So anywhere closer than California will have the deal...unless you pay for 2nd day air or over night shipping.
It seems like this deal wasn't on Outpost.com earlier in the morning, but it just appeared this afternoon.
