Maybe 'cause it's not a hot deal - this CD blows ass. What are those guys thinking? I'd rather have them drinking again - at least their music was good then. This stuff is boring, uninspired, and just plain putrid.
Giants is a lot of fun - you can play as each of the 3 races, but the most fun is playing the giant. There are moments in the game and cutscenes that will make you laugh out loud.
Yanya Caballista usually gets knocked as a poor man's Jet Grind Radio, but it's different enough to stand on it's...
Very nice find. If I didn't already have a GC, I'd seriously consider it. The price seems more in line for a refurb than other deals I've seen - like the Ps2s and Xboxes that are $150 when a new one is $180. I'd rather spend the $30 and get a new unit.
I have both games.
For pure V-ball, I'd choose Beach Spikers. Better control, better action.
That said, DOA Extreme Beach Boobyball is a fun game also. The V-ball action is okay, but the fun parts are seeing what kind of stuff you can buy, and trying to bribe the other girls to team up with...
Why wouldn't you play DC? There are quite a few good games for it, and some games in some respects are better than some of the "current" systems.
Find one at a yard sale and get a few of the "A" titles for it - you'll see what I mean.
And...I bet Sal still plays his DC too.
Linkorama
They have a bunch of games, controllers, VMUs, Force Paks, etc. Games range from $10 -20. Not the greatest of deals we were used to when everyone was blowing out their DC stock, but this stuff is getting harder to find - especially new.
All of the Wal-Marts I have asked state that the Website is a different company, and that the stores/website will not PM each other. Personally, I think it's a load of crap, but that's the way they do it.
If anyone is dumb enough to coat their goodies with Icy Hot or Ben Gay, let 'em. Maybe it'll keep them from breeding. In fact, mandatory application on Jerry Springer guests and audience should help clean up the gene pool in just a few generations!
Yeah, there is rampant speculation on a price drop, but I wouldn't believe it until I saw it. Who starts these rumors anyway? The companies? The press? Some maniac on a forum?
If you want a PS2 now, buy it. Otherwise, sit and wait.
Thanks for the info. Ordered Reign of Fire and Minority Report. Heard that MR isn't that great, but you gotta follow the $10 game theory. If it's $10 and it's a good game, great. If it's lousy, then you're only out $10.
I hadn't seen this posted anywhere, so here it is.
Mechassault is $19.99 at Blockbuster B&M. The one I bought yesterday was sticker-priced at this price, and after checking with other locations, this deal looks to be chain-wide.
Great price for a kewl game!
How long before someone fits one of these things with groud effect lights, Cragar mags, and NOS? Now THAT would be cool.
It's a neat vechile, but in ints current incarnation it's too limited to be practical on a large scope. That said, my hat's off to Kamen, I sure as hell couldn't have built...
Hologram Time Traveler
Who Shot Johnny Rock?
Both Titles by Digital Leisure.
Why would you want these games? Time Traveler was kinda cool, but WSJR is pretty terrible. Still, I post this in case SOMEONE wanted these games on the cheap.
Yeah, you can play the emulators, even use NES gamepads, but there's still nothing like playing it straight on the box. Who doesn't remember getting those nasty grooves in your hand from those square controllers?
Faves:
Kung Fu (745,900 pts. high score)
Jackal
Kid Niki (hard as hell in the...
Unfortunately, the Turtles game is the first one. I think I'll let that cartridge function as a drink coaster, but the other games in this package are decent. The NES had a lot of crap games, but it also had some really awesome ones that are still hella fun to play.
You're right. My bad, Musictech - I posted and then realized that I was being an a**.
These auctions are most likely by sellers who capitalized on Dell deals. The prices are pretty good
on some of these.I would check about the warranty, even though I imagine they were purchased with the
minimum one.

Ebgames.com does it again! They have a refurb NES with 7 games for $59.99, use code 20PRWN to knock it down to $48.

They only have three, but they are good ones:
Tech Romancer - $9.99 New
Heavy Metal : Geomatrix - $9.99 New
Resident Evil : Code Veronica - $19.99 New
Hope this helps your DC collection!
The $19.99 price at KBToys is not online, it's in-store only. I called 3 KBToys, and they were all selling it for that. I could've just ran down the mall and bought it there, but I thought I'd see if EB would pricematch. Babbage's and EB are very good about pricematching in the mall I go to -...

What that clerk told you is a load. They are SUPPOSED to PM on the spot. Keep after 'em.
wakeboarder:
It is sort of incongruous to see Ninjas packing heat, but so what? It's a hella fun game. I also picked up Dino Stalker, and it's also a good game.
CaptainPete:
Correct you are. And...
Haven't seen this posted here yet, so.....
Went into Electronics Boutique to trade a few games, and while there I remembered a post I had seen on another forum. I asked the clerk to call the KayBee Toys there in the mall and see what Ninja Assault with the Guncon2 bundle cost. It's marked at...
Great deal. I was a big fan of the original Postal, even though it was a pretty flawed game. I'm not surprised that RWS went for the FPS this time, but I would like to see a new isometric Postal also.
