I've got a similar problem. When I watch a video file, the colors are grey-scaled until I reboot, then they're fine. I have no idea what the hell's going on, so your guess is as good as mine.

Interesting...I figured ID Software wasn't dumb enough to write doom 3 for only the most expensive cards, but I didn't think Nvidia's second level card would beat ATI's first level card..
