You guys have been very helpful to me. You all gave me a lot to think about. One part of me does not want to work at best buy service center. and another part want to work there just for experience as a stepping stone for a better job in the near future. I will just have to wait and see when...

yeah.. i know it sounds dumb. But all of these jobs want you to have experience. At least 2 years. The problem is i cant get experience because all the jobs want you to already have it. I have plenty of other job experience. Just not related to IT feild.

True.. its just the ride that is gonna kill me. just to make 9-12 bucks hour.. If it was a higher paying job i wouldn't mind driveing 45 minutes. My old job doing manufacturing work payed me $16/hour wih just high shcool diploma. I was layed of with half the company

Yeah.. same thing i'm thinking.. But its not at one of the retail stores. Its some service center 45 mintues away.. There are plenty of best buy's 5-10 minutes away. I have never heard of the best buy service center. That why i thought it would be better to work there than a retail store...

Newegg shipping charges are getting out of hand!

Well i would much rather buy from newegg than COmp USA with their $250 mother boards that suck.. and $150 cheiftech cases and $200 generic 52mb ram, not to mention all of the tax you have to pay.. But it is kind of stupid that newegg dosnt ajust the shipping.. I dont like buy small items...

Cheap 1GB @ 250

I got some cheap pdp patriot from newegg.. its pc 3200 at 2-2-3-5.. when you relax the timing i can hit Pc4000 speeds. I get 250fsb 1:1 with no problems.. anymore than that and it will not be stable at all.. This is cheap ram with heatsinks that i think works very well.. as good as the expensive...

9800 pro @ newegg for $172?

You really dont read the thread.. If you did then you would relize that this is a crippled 9800pro with 128bit. So you would be getting a slower card for a little less. You would be wasting money because the 9800pro 256bit is only $200

I think Newegg changed it.. It says Sapphire Radeon 9800PRO Video Card, 128MB DDR 128bit, DVI/TV-Out, 8X AGP, Model 1024-1C47, OEM... They are selling a 128bit 9800pro for a cheaper price. The 9800pro is suppose to be 256bit. They are doing this to get rid of all the old chips they got laying...

A few bolts shot out! Know I see why they always have it shut down. I wont ride it either when they open it back up, I doubt it will be in service this year. I did want to ride it, but now hearing that bolts are flying out of it i think i will pass on that ride..... Yeah Fry's
