Can Someone Please Tell Me How To Re-install Windows XP? Please.

Windows was corrupted so I tried to repair it but that did not work. So then I had to re-format the hard drive and re-install Windows and I lost everything but these things happen. I am glad that everything is back up and working again now though:). Thank you both for your help:).

GregANDTCH, I do have Nero burning software and it looks like a newer driver has been released (5.5.10.42) so I am downloading that now. Just one question though, do I need to delete the old drivers (5.5.10.42) before I install the new ones:)?

TheBoyBlunder, My drives are all plugged in. My motherboard is working fine. CD's and floppy disks definately have information on them. I have ran Norton AntiVirus three times now, so I definately do not have a virus. MechBgon, yes the condition does persist after rebooting. Are their any...

Please help me burn my CD

1. Yes, they are about a month old but I have burned other ones in the box before today, so it is not the C.D.'s. 2. No, I have never updated nero, where would the bug have come from? 3. No, the C.D.'s are rated at 1x - 16X and I have tried burning at 4x and 8x. 4. Answer in the above (3.):).

Please help me burn my CD

I am trying to burn a CD and after about three minutes it says "Speed Measurement Failed". I have never had this problem before and it is really annoying. If anyone knows what I am doing wrong please help me. Thank you:).

The sam ething happens to my Intel computer. Every night I turn my computer off and then when I wake in the morning it is turned on. It is a 400 watt power supply. I have no idea what is causing it:confused:.

Which is the better Radeon graphic card: 8500LE or 9000 Pro?

I have the Radeon 9000 Pro II (128MB) and was wondering if it is a better or worse performer than the 8500LE. I have alway though that the 9000Pro was the better performer (because it is a higher number and has double the memory of the 8500LE) but from what I have been reading it appears that I...

Are there alternatives to parallel ports?

I had a look at them at Newegg.com and the Antec cables seem to have positive reviews. What is a good length for the cables? Also, it seems as though you need different cables for your floppy drive than you do for your hard drive and CD drive. Is this correct. Thank you:).

My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-8SIMLH. I do not think it has SATA support. Is SATA a lot better than ATA? Thank for your help and the links, I am going to take a look at them now:).

DDR Memory Confusion

The thing I do not understand is that he said his processor has a 533MHz FSB and his PC3200 RAM runs at 400MHz. So what is stopping the RAM reaching 400MHz, his FSB shouldn't, because it is running at 533MHz.
