Has anyone noticed that the current sale price for the HT-S760 has dropped to $449.99 both online and instore? Great deal for a fantastic home theater in a box system. $449.99 - 90 MSN dollars = $359.99 + tax w/ free...
I suppose potential buyers now have three options:
1) Purchase instore for $499.99 - $50 GC = $449.99 + tax
2) Purchase online for $549.99 - $25 GC - $100 MSN = $424.99 + tax. Free shipping or instore express pickup.

I don't know if anyone noticed, but the "sale price" for the 760 at circuitcity.com changed to $549.99 with a $25 gift card MIR and the $100 limit MSN dollars. Onecall.com still has the 760 for $499.99, but I'm pretty sure that you wouldn't be able to take advantage of the MSN dollars...
I simply accept the fact that the 650 was last year's model and is now discontinued. Like most technology, newer incrementally better models have more features and are cheaper.
Having checked out the HT-S760 and HT-S650 yesterday at my local CC, I can offer a few clarifications.
1. The sale ends 5/31/03.
2. CircuitCity.com was out of stock for direct ship, but it is currently available.
3. The receiver looks identical to the TX-SR501 receiver on the onkyousa.com...
My wife and I checked out the HT-S760 at a local Circuit City and were impressed enough to go ahead and buy it. There didn't seem to be any particular reason to purchase it instore and lug it home (plus I wasn't driving my truck) so I figured I would go home and order it with the free shipping...
