Sorry should've been more clear. The USB2.0/3.0 to SATA adapters were on a separate computer running Windows and also tried it in ubuntu. Any other ideas?

Is there a way to override default sampling rates in Windows 8.1?

Hi, I switch between two machines for work and home use and use a USB switch to change my peripherals (mouse, keyboard, external DAC). The problem I run into is that I want to run my DAC at 24 Bit 96kHz sampling rate in Windows but every time I switch between PC's and it disconnects my DAC...

Looking for a bluetooth receiver that can output headset audio

Hello, I want to be able to pair a bluetooth headset with my work phone. My phone has a proprietary connector, but I know which pins are mic/headset. So basically I need a bluetooth receiver that relays mic (output) and audio (input). Does anyone know if this type of device exists?

Z68 - SRT cache and boot volume on a single SSD disk - it works!

So i got this working before but now I need to reformat my OS part of the SSD. Everytime I try to reinstall windows it says it cant be installed on the volume 0x803 error. Do I have to go through the process all over again?

Building a budget HTPC

I upgraded to E8400 and CPU usage dropped from 90% to <30%. Both were 64 bit installs on Win 7. If anything, I have a microcenter and can get an i3-2100 w/mobo for $120. I was hoping to get a used motherboard for the E4400 for ~$50 that can do decent OC.

To be 100% accurate, NTSC broadcasts are 29.97 fps (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NTSC). Depending on the standard and encoding, ATSC (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ATSC) can do 23.976, 24fps, 29.97, 30 etc. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe in the US, ATSC is all 29.97 fps @ 1080i and 59.94...

I completely agree, but it was an extra I had lying around and thought it should at least be able to handle this low power rig. The main reason I still have it is because the cables are so easy to work with.
