So this morning my cpu was running 200fsb with 11 multiplier. Then I set it to default setting to install new sata drives. After installing windows and drivers, I attempted to set the cpu back to 200x11. The problem is that I can only get it to do 195x10 now. I can't do anything higher than...

How do you tint a case window?

just to let you know, its the other way around... 0% means no light in and 100% means 100% light in so 10% is very dark, so your 40% is actually 60% that you are looking for

thanks guys i have some as3 sitting around, i'll try that. In the BIOS, temp reads 35 celcius. I didn't think heat was a big factor. The GFD should be here by the end of the week, so i'll try that. Thanks again

Hi, i have this old computer as a spare. So i'm experimenting with overclocking. I could only get it to run normally at fsb of 109 (109*7), but when i hit 110, windows would load and imediately freeze. I tried raising the voltage, but no luck. I am waiting for a GFD to arrive to change the...

i'm using one of the revision 1.xx. I got it back in december. I'm thinking about RMA back to newegg for a repair...does anyone know what will this do? will they fix it or replace it? or just reject me?

hmm, i swapped the CPU and didn't work...the CPU is still good, so i am pretty sure its the motherboard....it seems like the problem is the CMOS wont clear. Is there any way to clear CMOS besides the battery on this board?

tried harddrive, thats ok. turned speakers all the way up, no sound....if there is problems with the bios, how do i fix that?

ok its not the battery, its not the ps, its not ram...damnit is it possible that i fried something? i didn't increase any voltages or anything, just raised the fsb to 166 and lowered multiplier to 12.5.....=(

i changed the jumpers to 200 (100) fsb, tried insert key, but still no beep. Yeah i unplugged the cord before removing battery. The battery was pretty hot when i pulled it out, could it be an issue with the battery?

just encountered a problem...i tried going from a 133 x 15 to 166 x 12.5, now computer wont even post. I tried resetting CMOS by pulling out battery, but still wont post. i cant figure whats wrong? any help?

oh, to clearify, in windows xp it says that it runs athlon xp 2400+ @2.0ghz. It doesnt seem like its slow, i'm thinking its just a bios error....any thoughts?

hi, i'm new to the forum. My problem is that my multiple frequency in my bios is way too low. heres my setup: asus a7n8x deluxe athlon xp 2400+ 2x256 corsair 3200c2 in my bios, fsb is 133 and the default frequency multiplier is 6.5. i heard that it is default at 15? anyone have a clue whats...
