I have the Sony SDM-HX73 and while I won't say it's better than a CRT, I have been very pleased with it's game playing ability. Although, so far I've only played BF1942 and WCIII.

I've had bad luck with gaming and built-in sound, however, I had the chips that weren't recommended (see article from previous post).
I tried deleting the display drivers in safe mode and then rebooted. Windows then installed drivers for both my ViewSonic and an Unknow monitor. Appreciate any other ideas anyone may have to solve this problem. Thanks.
I did try deleting the monitors identified on my system and then rebooting and my system still identifies two monitors. One ViewSonic and one unknown monitor. I wasn't in safe mode when I tried it however. What's the difference between uninstalling the drivers in safe mode or standard? Just...
I also use Spybot and have had good luck with it. Was the spyware installed on your system called Xupiter? I never realized how much spyware was being installed on my system until I started running Adware and Spybot! Good luck.
