Not true. My employer does ESPP, stock options, profit sharing, etc. and I use the BASIC version of TurboTax which costs $24.99 normally. Hell I even have a side business and the BASIC one does my Schedule C.
Um, you're going to play more than one $60 game over the life of the console. I bet you invested MORE in your computer. And the PS3 will probably have a good 5 - 6 years of gaming life.
Too bad you can't watch On Demand stuff with the S3. That pretty much kills it for me. Plus I have heard some horror stories when S3 owners tried to get their cable company to install two cable cards.
I'll stick with the Moxi for now, despite its lame interface and abysmal hard drive...
A couple weeks ago. I just happened to check Dell's site and they were mistakenly applying a $343 discount to both the 2007WFP and 2407WFP monitors. The discount was for an inspiron notebook. I placed an order for two of the 20" and one 24" monitor. The mistake was removed not even 10...

Correction... the DE line is pretty crappy. The DA (ES) line is excellent. Not sure if it's still around, but the DB line is also very good (almost as good as DA).
Netflix has shipping centers all over the place. There are at least two in Washington state. It used to take a couple days for a movie to reach me, but now they added a distribution center in eastern Washington and now the turnaround time is even better. I ship them a movie... the next day...
too bad it's analog. I don't want people listening in on my conversations. I am trying to find a high quality digital 900mhz phone. I hate the 2.4Ghz I have now... it has crappy sound quality compared to my 900MHz from a few years ago.
Make sure you install the audio drivers from Dell's site. Then try double-clicking on the volume control and make sure the WAVE volume and DVD volume (if there is one) are cranked up. Sometimes you can crank the master volume but it WAVE/DVD volumes are low, it won't be loud enough.
Not trying to crap on this thread, but you all might want to check out the microsoft.public.money newsgroup to see what people are saying about 2005. While I personally didn't have any problems, a LOT of people are, especially if you use MSN Bill Pay.

Great deal! This drive is smokin' fast. I put this drive in two laptops. One had a 4200rpm drive and the other a 5200rpm drive. In both cases it made an enormous performance difference.

The E7K60 has the same shock rating as the 7K60. The E7K60 is apparently more rugged and supports 24x7 operation. I have not been able to confirm if there's a power save difference though.
I don't see travelstar drives on newegg, but if by "not as fast" you mean they're 5400RPM, these 7200RPM...
