I have the Deluxe board rev 2.0, with bios 1002. What is the max stable fsb I should be able to achieve? Running a 2500+ with OCZ pc 3500. Should I be able to drop the multi and run at 200 mhz fsb no prob? Or do I need a bios update? I would really rather not update the bios, because thats...

When I've cleared the CMOS, I've never even touched the battery, just changed the jumper. Anyone have an easy way to remove the battery?

I just picked up this motherboard v2.0 to go with my 1800+ Palomino CPU. In the bios it lets me adjust the mulitplier, which suprised me because its not a T-bred. I'm afraid to save it on a lower multiplier. Anyone done this or know anything about it? Thanks!

Just took mine in to have it looked at, turned out it was the motherboard as I thought.

Can't boot up - help!

Thank you for your response! I took it out of the case, same thing happens. The 2 power led's work when I turn on the power, and the CDRW led goes on too. So, hopefully this does mean that its the mobo then.

i know my motherboard or cpu is dead, but which one?

I'm having the same problem, from what I've heard the odds are that its the mobo. I don't have another CPU to try out though, so I'll have to hope its the mobo and buy a new one.

Can't boot up - help!

I've narrowed the problem down to either the Mobo or CPU. Given that the video card fan and CPU fan both spin when I press the power button, is it more likely that the CPU or mobo is fried? I don't have another CPU or mobo to try.

Can't boot up - help!

I've removed the Hard Drive and CD ROM's to eliminate complication, but still the same problems. I don't believe that I'm shorting out. And the video card is fully seated. Usually, a system beeps when it starts up, this one doesn't.

I tried to start my computer this morning but I had no luck! The case fans, PSU fan, Video Card fan, and CPU fan all started up, and the LED's on my CDRW and DVD Rom all lit up. Nothing appear on the screen of my monitor, and I don't get any beeps, which I normally do. I tried the monitor on...
